Born in 2257, Muller is the son of a Navarro Remnant in The Mojave Wasteland.
Background
Jayson was born the son of Johnathan Grant Muller and Serena Mary Kellerman and raised in The Mojave Wasteland by his Grandparents. His Grandparents kept their ties with The Enclave on a low level in order to protect him from any repercussions they might face from the NCR, who actively hunts any remnants of The Enclave in an attempt to exterminate them from existence.
His Grandfather taught him how to defend himself, and instilled his sense of honor and duty to country into Jayson at a young age, quoting old patriotic songs and assuring Jayson that America would be back one day, with The Enclave at the helm. He gave him his Plasma Defender, which he eventually modified with a Sheath Stabilizer for improved accuracy.
His Grandmother taught him how to read, write, and survive in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, They would occasionally go hunting for food, and honed Jayson's ability with a Rifle. She was also instrumental in teaching him how to track animals.
However, in 2278, His Grandparents were executed by a band of raiders in Outer Vegas during one of their trips to the 188 Outpost to gather food and supplies from the traders there. After learning of the event, and In a fit of rage and thirst for vengeance, Jayson donned his father's old Power Armor, grabbed his Plasma Defender, and tracked down the raiders, annihilating them with the most extreme prejudice. This act did not go unnoticed however, and was noted by an NCR Patrol, who contacted Higher of an individual in Enclave Power Armor killing a band of Raiders and subsequently disappearing before the patrol could intervene.
After the incident, Jayson stayed on the down low before finally leaving The Mojave in order to try and find any trace of The Enclave his parents talked highly of inside of their house. By the time NCR Investigations were able to locate his residency and enter his old home by force, they were only able to find an abandoned house with a Pre-War American Flag in it with some old documents noting Enclave propaganda.
The Mojave Years
Jayson roamed The Mojave before settling in the town of Novac in 2279, where he stayed until after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam in 2282 when rumors began circulating of Enclave soldiers fighting off The NCR alongside The Legion before flying off in a Vertibird prior to House taking the Dam for himself.
